Should have been a beautiful day for lunch out in the vineyard, under shade, beside a reservoir. In fact, one might often worry about it being too warm for comfort at this time of year. But bizarrely, at lunch-time it was 63°F/17°C and with a cold bay-breeze blowing: I was glad of a merino jacket - not normal for August in Napa.
